Jules K Photography

I am a freelance photographer in the Kansas City Northland area in the state of Missouri. Nature photography is my first love but I also enjoy doing architectural and abstract photography as well.

My art is based on creating images that display light and color in all its many facets. I particularly like creating images that give a three dimensional feel so the viewer becomes part of my original experience.

I participate as a moderator on the nature forum, Birdphotographers.net, where I am a moderator in three of their forums - "Macro/Fora", "Out of the Box", and "Framing Your Image With Words". My photograph, "Zinnia Zoom," was the featured cover image for their Ezine in December, 2008.

My work has been created using Canon cameras and lenses and post-processed is done using Photoshop CS4 & Nik Software. Feel free to email me if you would like information about what camera body or lens I used to create a specific image.
